Biography
Jack Bernstein opened his law practice in 1983 and has worked exclusively on personal injury cases. He is a strategist and an idea person, with a genuine passion for helping the firm’s clients. Mr. Bernstein’s experience includes but is not limited to: auto accidents, medical malpractice, slip and falls, dog bite injuries, nursing home negligence, truck accidents, wrongful death, brain injury, product liability, boat accidents, motorcycle accidents, and all types of injury and catastrophic cases. In conjunction with his partner, Neil Maryanoff. Mr. Maryanoff works very closely with the associate lawyers, paralegals, and support staff to maximize recovery for the firm’s clients
Mr. Bernstein oversees the progress of the firm’s cases. He effectively creates the legal team necessary for each case including the right experts and investigation together early to help present your case successfully. He assists the firm with creating systems to allow it to operate efficiently. He demands that his staff be committed to Protecting the Rights of the firm’s clients and demands excellence of this staff, and that the ethical rules be strictly followed. He feels that a satisfied client is the firm’s best source for new clients. Mr. Bernstein has written the majority of the content of this website based upon his own personal experience in having been involved in more than 50,000 cases he and his firms have worked on.
Miami Legal Litigation
He went to undergraduate college at the State University of New York at Fredonia, graduating with high honors Cum Laude. He was President of the Freshman Honor Society. His major study area was Accounting with Minors in Economics and Politics. He was chosen by the college President to be on the Presidents Cabinet, consisting of a small handful of right hand people that would provide the President with robust debate at brainstorming sessions to better the college and motivate the students.
While attending the University Of Miami School of law he clerked for the late Manuel A. Crespo, Esq. who was President of the Cuban American Bar Association at the time a Circuit Court Judge. Jack owes a lot of his understanding of the practical aspects of the practice of law to the late Judge Crespo who taught him to above all to put your client first and to live up to the word honor.
Attorney Bernstein opened his own law practice in 1983. Shortly afterward, he became partner to Neil I. Maryanoff and they currently remain partners growing the South Florida Bernstein and Maryanoff firm into the powerhouse law-firm that it is today.
He is currently a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, the Broward Bar Association, and the Nevada Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the State and Federal Courts of Florida and Nevada.
